"Celebrating its second anniversary, Kek Lok Si Charitable Hospital (KLSCH) has surmounted numerous hurdles in providing access to affordable and high-quality specialist services to all.
Looking ahead, it is imperative that our hospital’s core values of ‘Compassionate, Committed, and Caring’ permeate not only our work but also our way of life. To this end, we must ensure that every dollar spent is aligned with the above values.
With these guiding principles and our dedicated staff, I am confident that our charitable work will improve the quality of life for many in years to come."

Kek Lok Si Charitable Hospital (KLSCH) started its operation on 18 July 2021. KLSCH is funded and managed by Yayasan Kek Lok Si. As a not-for-profit organization, KLSCH is set up to provide quality and yet affordable tertiary medical care to the public especially those who are financially challenged. As a result of the extension of life expectancy and the country's gradual movement towards an aging society, the incidences of various diseases and medical disorders are escalating, thus causing an unprecedented state of stress and burden to healthcare resources and expenditures. Over the past decades, both public and private hospitals in Malaysia are offering quality healthcare to the public. In recent years, due to the escalating number of patients, public hospitals are extremely overwhelmed. On the other hand, due to inflation and rising costs in medical services, medical fees are getting more and more expensive. It has come to a stage that private medical service is no longer affordable to most people. As a result of the above mentioned, KLSCH is offering an extra option by making tertiary medical care available to the public between the existing public and private hospitals. Since its commencement of operations, KLSCH has tried its level best to offer affordable tertiary medical care and at the same time has its welfare department to assist the needy. For the past two years, we have been expanding our scope and types of medical services and procuring new and advanced equipment and facilities. Under the leadership and guidance of the Chairman of Yayasan Kek Lok Si and who is also the Chairman of the Board of Management of KLSCH, Venerable Jit Heng, we have embarked on expansion projects. We, all the staff in KLSCH are always embracing our core values of “Compassionate”, “Committed” and “Caring” in accomplishing our missions and delivering our duties for the betterment of our community.
